Figurative Paintings

I want my art to evoke a feeling or memory… a connection through shared emotions. Whether I am doing a figurative or abstract piece, textures appeal to me.

I can get lost in exploring ways to build it with colour, layers, or tools.

I also like building paintings that appeal from a distance but, are full of little surprise marks up close that are like secrets whispered softly.
